Granny competed in harness racing for many years when she was young. As she aged, she eventually became a harness racing lesson pony who taught people harness racing. After a few years of that, her owners decided to retire her from harness racing and she was sold to a riding school where she continued teaching children but this time, she taught them how to ride. She was a favorite at the riding school but as she became old, she eventually had to retire and live an easier life.
