Woodland Pony

Woodland Pony

Also known as "Furballs"

The most common color for a Woodland Pony is black, although they can also be bay, chestnut, gray, buckskin, grullo, brown dun, palomino and more. They usually have minimal markings, meaning they rarely have extreme markings like maximum tobiano or stockings. They are slightly smaller than the Oak Forest Horse and have very thick manes. They have a lot of feathering. They keep their heads really high up.

They are great allrounders and work well in any discipline. They are known to be a bit mischievous and without proper training, that can end up with a problem horse. They are pretty likely to spook to things they are not used to and can be a bit hard to calm down.
They are generally a pretty good pony breed for pony who likes a slight challenge in their everyday life and works very well with any skill level rider if they're properly trained.

Woodland Ponies grow a bit slower than most breeds and are not ready to carry humans until they're at least 5 years old. This also means they can become a bit older than most breeds.

They can be anywhere between 120 to 148 cm in height but they're often around 135-140 cm.

This is not a real horse breed, it's made up and you are NOT allowed to use it outside the Oak Wood Stables community.
