What is a horse type?
In Oak Wood Stables, we use the term horse type instead of horse breed, as most horses aren't a specific breed. There is plenty of horse types that can be found in game.
There is currently 10 horse types, two of which are horse breeds and one that isn't technically a horse.
List of horse types
Warmblooded horse - No feathering, can have most coat colors.
Warmblooded pony - No feathering, can have most coat colors.
Coldblooded horse - Feathering, can have most coat colors.
Coldblooded pony - Feathering, can have most coat colors.
Miniature pony - A lot of feathering, can have most coat colors. They jump lower than other horse types.
Companion - They are unrideable, tiny ponies. Their main purpose is to calm down stressed horses although not all of them are suited for that. They come in two variations, heavy and light, and most coat colors.
Oak Forest Horse - Some feathering, usually bay with blue eyes.
Oak Woods Fjord horse - Some feathering, can only be bay dun, red dun & grullo and minimal or no markings. (NOT the same as a Norwegian fjord horse)
Mule - Really long ears, can have most coat colors. Can have feathering and mane, it all depends on the parents.
Woodland Pony - A lot of feathering, can have most coat colors and minimal markings are common.

Chimera Horse - No feathering, big, two different coat colors.
Oakland Pony - A lot of feathering, very fluffy manes, extreme markings, most colors and markings allowed.
Light Draft - Some feathering, can have most coat colors.
Skógarhestur - Some feathering, unique gait, usually chestnut or black. Very fluffy mane & long tail.
